Harold Tello, the founder of Tomatello’s Latin Cuisine, has always been passionate about cooking and sharing meals with others. Whether preparing a cozy weeknight dinner or hosting a holiday feast for forty, he takes pride in creating food that brings people together. Cooking and developing new recipes have long been his favorite pastime, even as he focused on running his other business—Painting the World, a painting and contracting company he has proudly owned for more than 30 years.

When the opportunity came to open Tomatello’s in the heart of Hopewell Borough, in the community where he and his family have lived for the past 34 years, Harold knew it was the perfect opportunity to share his love of food with his neighbors.

Most days, Harold is behind the counter, testing out new recipes or preparing your favorite meals. Family is at the heart of Tomatello’s, and it’s not unusual to see his loved ones lending a hand to ensure every guest receives the best food and service possible.
